VELUX Active provides climate control tailored to your own needs for your own home. Artificial Intelligence uses data from smart sensors around your home to control your skylights and blinds.

Research shows indoor air quality is often not as good as the fresh air outside. To make matters worse we spend up to 80% of our time indoors. Accordingly VELUX have teamed up with the experts at French company Netatmo to provide a solution.

Smart Sensors

VELUX Active collects real time data from smart sensors inside your home. These sensors measure the temperature, humidity and CO₂ levels for each room. VELUX Active uses weather data from the international Netatmo network of Smart Home Weather Stations to decide when your skylights and blinds should be opened or closed according to your settings.

Stay in Control

Use the VELUX App to control your VELUX Solar Skylights and Solar Honeycomb Blinds with your smart phone, from anywhere in the world.

Installation

VELUX ACTIVE indoor climate control is easy to install. Simply download the smart phone App from your App store and follow the on screen instructions. It is as simple as setting up a VELUX account, connecting to your home WiFi, and connect your skylights and blinds from the the existing RF links to their keypads. No professionals or ladders required!

KIX 300

This starter kit includes: one indoor climate sensor, one departure switch and one gateway. Both the starter kit and the smart phone app are required to install VELUX ACTIVE in your home.

KLA 300

The indoor climate sensor measures temperature, humidity and air quality (CO₂ levels) in the room. Use the switch on the sensor to open and close VELUX skylights. One indoor climate sensor for each room with VELUX product provides the best results.
